Arrival process
Proceed through the arrivals terminal
For smoother movement within the airport, we recommend checking the floor map in advance.
Complete quarantine & immigration procedures
After disembarking from the aircraft, take a bus to the terminal.
After arriving, please complete the quarantine and immigration procedures.
Japanese
Please prepare your passport and complete the procedures for return.
Foreign
Please proceed to the booth where the immigration officer is with the completed immigration card or the QR code registered in advance on the Visit Japan Web.
If you arrive early
Passengers holding a foreign passport and a plane ticket can shop at duty-free stores located after immigration.
Collect checked baggage
Check your airline and flight number on the guide board and retrieve your luggage at the luggage handover area.
Passengers bringing fruit, vegetables, meat products, etc. into Japan must have these items inspected.
Is your baggage lost or damaged?
Complete customs inspection & declaration
Proceed to customs inspection with your baggage and submit your declaration form(s) and other required documents.
For Visit Japan Web users
In the case of electronic declaration, you can prepare a “declaration form for portable goods and unaccompanied goods” from the website of Visit Japan Web (online service for immigration procedures) and make an electronic declaration using a QR code reader installed at the customs booth.
Paper-based declaration
In the case of a written declaration, please fill out a paper declaration form for personal effects and unaccompanied goods and submit it to customs.
Before leaving the airport...
